Meaning of hair extension, artificial hair integrations, it is commonly known as add length or fullness to human hair.
A hair extension involves using your own hair, or combining loss it with synthetic hair or human hair, to conceal hair loss in both men or women. The hair is painstaking woven, or hand knotted, in specific patterns to provide hair coverage.

Tape in extension
Tape in hair extension last on your hair from 4 to 8 weeks and your hair can be combed and washed while wearing extension. To comb your hair place the brush or comb where the extension begin and gently brush with a downward motion
Clip-in or Clip-on hair extensions
This technique is the permanent and can be very effective without the disadvantages such as traction alopecia associated with glue extensions. The hair weft has a small toupee clips sewn onto them. Set of clip-in extensions averages eight strips human hair in varying widths from two inches to eight inches.
Fusion
This method is the most versatile and most natural looking waves on the market. This involves a machine similar to a hot glue gun used to attach human hair extension to individual strands o one’s natural hair of about 1/8 to ¼ inch squared sections for a truly authentic look.fusion attachment is using hair which is per-tipped with a keratin adhesive. A heat clamp is then used to melt the adhesive to attach the extension hair to the natural hair
This technique is very time consuming because it takes about 3 or more hours. They need repositioning every 2-3 months as the natural hair grows. Due to various chemicals in the glue, which may be cause hair loss. This method is more damaging to natural hair.
Bonding and sealing extension
Bonding is method of weaving that lasts for a shorter period of time in comparison to sew-in weaving. The application of hair glue to a section of weftedhair, then onto a person’s nature hair
Special hair adhesives are in bonding to prevent damage to one’s natural hair. This method is commonly used and does not cause damage to the hair unless taken out without proper directions from a professional. These are two types of bonding methods: soft and hard pounding, soft bonding is flexible and comfortable to wear and hard bond bond is the industry term or bonding treatments.
Hair Transplant: A hair transplant means that your own hair is transplanted from one part of the scalp to another. The follicular unit transplant, the scalp is numbed and a strip of scalp containing long- lasting hairs are removed, and skilfully inserted into the balding areas.
It is part of the surgical technique that moves individual hair follicles from a part of the body called the ‘donor sites’ to a bald or balding part of the body known as the ‘recipient sites.
It can also used to restore eyelashes, eyebrows, bread hair, chest hair and it differs from skin grafting in that grafts contain almost all of the epidermis and dermis surrounding the hair follicle tiny grafts are transplanted rather than a single strip of skin.

- Strip Harvesting
- Follicular unit extraction (FUE)
Strip Harvesting:
It is the most common techniques for removing hair or follicles from a donor site and the surgeon harvests a strip of skin from the posterior scalp, in an area of good hair growth. Each incision is planned so that intact hair follicles are removed. The excised strip is about 1-1.5 x 15-30 cm in size.
Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE):
With FUE harvesting, individual follicular units containing 1 to 4 hairs are removed under local anaesthesia; this micro removal typically uses tiny punches of between 0,6mm and 1.0mm in diameter. The FUE procedure is more time consuming than strip surgery.
