Hair extension is work as both fashion accessory and basic necessity for different people.

There are lots of techniques those used for applying hair extensions. You can select which is most convenient and suitable to your hair. Always before applying extension take proper suggestions from your hair stylist or professional. Here some most popular techniques are described below:

Braiding

The braided extension technique takes portions of natural hair which is braided and wefts of extensions added to it. You may have seen people sporting long tight braids though you know their natural hair doesn’t reach that length.

Clip-on

Clip-In hair extension is best option for you if you wanting longer hair or a different style for a special occasion. Clip-in set of bangs or a clip-in fringe you should buy with one-piece hair extension. The fringe is a bang with lengthier hair on the sides. It isn’t permanent, lasting only for one day or one night. Clip-in hair extensions can be sold in the form of a single strand extension or a full hair piece style extension.

Bonding

This style of hair extension last for long time. For this style human hair extension strands are bonded with client’s natural strands using heat. The technique is further divided into two sub-techniques which involve using soft and hard glue. Hard glue, while ensuring a longer lasting period, isn’t as comfortable as using soft glue and so isn’t as favored as much.

Woven

In this technique natural hair is woven and tracks are created. The wefts are then attached to these tracks to lengthen hair. This is a fastest process and lasts for long time. The only drawback is that you can’t follow regular hair maintenance procedures in case the weave is loosened.

Fusion

This technique is similar to the braided. In fusion glue is used to attach wefts to natural hair. However, in addition to the glue a hot glue gun is used to fuse the two together. Fusion is the most secure technique that produces natural-looking results. It’s expensive and very time-consuming.

Netting

Netting is also popular technique. Netting uses a net or a breathable cap similar to those used on wigs. In this process, natural hair is braided over which the net is placed. The weft of artificial hair is then either sewn or glued to the net or the braid, providing flexibility of application. It doesn’t take as long as bonding or fusion and is cheaper too. Due to its fewer expenses it is very much popular.
